Music to make seniors feel young again as they do seated dance exercise to the music. Oldies music memories.

Any kind of dance seems like it would be really fun I would look forward to that Also I’m concerned that I ca no longer access balance or boxing program ??.?? The only programs that come up when I log in is foundation and nutrition What happened to the others . ? Please respond . I was working on balance and now it’s disappeared

This was the 1st thing that came to mind when I saw l what else do we want to see. I wouldn’t mind it being not just chair dancing but stand up dancing too.
I have been through most of the lessons you offer about three times, so I look for complementary actions that I can take to extend your well-researched programs. I find that music with a beat really motivates me. I do two things to use music as an exercise motivator. 1. I play your rhythmic bits available under each lesson and attempt free-dance disco style, using movements you just taught in the lessons. 2. l go to an available seated dance program on You Tube, about 20 minutes--and easy. Having more of your high quality seated dance routines would be more fruitful because they could be progressive.

My husband and I taught dancing until MS took away that part of my life. Prior to finding grow young fitness, we did Zumba 3 times a week with a group, me with a rollator for balance in front of me. I'd LOVE to have some dance incorporated into our exercise!

This was my first day, and I agree that the music was kind of boring. I get joy listening to the oldies from the 50's to the 70's; I am more motivated by that kind of music.

Hi Deron. I had a few medical issues arise (again) and a move to Florida so I haven't been as dedicated to my work out as usual. But, thankfully we have a pool at my apartment complex & my sister has shown me water aerobics, as well as having a great place to walk. I think I'm all settled in and can get back to a routine. Thanks for your inspiration.

Music idea of “dancing” to the oldies is the best ever! The oldies tempo and beat are easy to follow, better than some paces done in foundation 2, especially!

I use to love to dance. I’m at a point in my life where I’ll even dance sitting in a chair.
I think that would be good. I turn clasical music on at 4 am to do exercises to Classical music
I like the idea of dance incorporated in seated exercises. There is a rhythm to exercises which is a flow that is easier to follow.

I would love some better music, but I think that if they actually added popular old songs, there might be copyright issues of some sort. I really enjoy the exercises pretty much how they are, because I can concentrate on getting the moves right instead of keeping a beat to the music. Great idea, though, so I wouldn't hate better music.

Ms Sour Grapes here. I will always vote no for anything about dancing. I feel there are enough unstructured dance videos out there on the internet already. I’d hate to see the progressive nature of the GYF programs diluted. Everything offered here is of a progressive nature increasing our strength, endurance and range of motion in a tried and true physical education sort of way.
I love the idea of adding music to the workout.

I LOVE seated dance and would very much enjoy oldies but also 70s through current and also world beat. I love oldies but I am not stuck in that mindset.
